Solaire Resort North welcomes the newest addition to its exceptional roster of restaurants, Trattoria e Dolci. Trattoria presents a delightful assortment of salads and delectable selection of classic pizzas baked to perfection with traditional stone ovens. While Dolci features 30 handcrafted gelatos and indulgent ice cream-based desserts. Of course, there’s coffee!

Trattoria e Dolci offers a blended experience designed to delight the senses in more ways than one. The Trattoria side presents a delectable selection of Neapolitan-style pizzas baked to perfection with traditional brick ovens from Naples. Authentic Italian ingredients will take center stage in each dish available, with flavorful cheeses and wines for guests to indulge in. Highlighting the deliciousness of Italian cuisine, the restaurant’s signature pizza, the Trattoria pizza, includes an appetizing blend of mortadella, burrata, and ground pistachios to create the perfect pizza.
On the other hand, for a sweeter treat, Dolci features 30 handcrafted gelatos and indulgent gelato-based desserts to complement each meal, all served from an exquisite bespoke Italian gelato counter.

We had a taste of their signature pizzas and fresh salads during the soft opening celebration. We ordered two kinds of salad. My husband had the caprese which has delicious buffalo mozzarella, marinated cherry tomatoes and basil. I ordered the melt-in-the-mouth seared-tuna salad with fennel and green beans. To start with, we were served with a small charcuterie board with two kinds of cheese, sliced meats, and crackers. It goes well with Aperol Aranciata and Limon Spritz.

Trattoria has an open kitchen with brick ovens so you can also watch how your food is being prepared. The restaurant mainly serves pizzas. We had white pizza called Funghi, a delicious pizza with marinated mushrooms, porcini, smoked ricotta and truffle oil. Rossa pizza is made with parma ham, cherry tomatoes, arugula salad and parmesan shavings. But my favorite is the Trattoria pizza made with Mortadella, burrata and pistachio.

After a heavy meal, we made sure to save space for gelato and other desserts. My husband had two rounds of gelato – pistachio, matcha, strawberry cheesecake, salted caramel. I had matcha, chocolate and pistachio. I had to skip coffee because I already had one before the event but will definitely come back to try it. By the way, they also have gelato sandwiches and milkshakes.

Together with the delectable dining options, Trattoria e Dolci invites guests to stay a while and revel in the warm and inviting ambiance full of bespoke Italian inspired furniture pieces and interior designs, from beautiful mosaic tables to elegant marble counters for diners to enjoy watching the house pizzaiolo prepare each pizza.
Thoughtfully curated, the trattoria concept desires to embrace the charm of Italian nostalgia through the delectable food and dessert options, as well as the warm interiors enhanced by unique feature walls, beautiful terrazzo flooring, and lovely lighting design. To top it all off, the restaurant’s comfortable atmosphere is further amplified by lively melodies readily available from a vintage jukebox for diners to tune into.
