How To Spend A Day In Aquaria Beach Resort
Summer is here! I was excited when I left the house for our day trip to Aquaria Beach Resort in Calatagan, Batangas. Carrying an overnight bag even if we’re not staying overnight, a camera to capture Aquaria sunset and my #SeizeTheSummer beauty essentials. Longing for another day in the beach, I am delighted to discover Aquaria for the first time.
Seats For Two went on a road trip heading Calatagan Batangas to visit Aquaria Beach Resort. In Makati, the weather was gloomy with frequent rain showers. Praying the sun would smile to us so we could enjoy the beach of Calatagan. My prayers were heard, alighting the van I already felt the scorching heat of the sun. “It’s time to get some tan“, I said.
Representatives from Fuego Hotels and Properties warmly welcome us, a friendly Aquaria staff immediately served cold bottled water and wet face towels to freshen up.
With a view of the West Philippine Sea, Aquaria Beach Resort is a water park with 525-meter of fine beach nestled within the Playa Calatagan Residences located at Calatagan, Batangas. This family getaway was developed by Landco Pacific Corp., and being managed by Fuego Hotels and Properties.
Not too long, resort tour started. The fab kiddie pool welcome us. The water playing invites us to change our clothes into swim wear. Near the kiddie pool is the bath house with more than 20 cubicles. The resort encourage the use of proper swimming attire.
We walked and reached one of the main attractions of Aquaria, the gigantic slide and pool.
After the quick tour, we were escorted to Sand’s restaurant with sumptuous buffet lunch awaits us. It was indeed a feast on fresh sea food, kebabs and grilled baby back ribs. Our group was excited to swim and try the amenities so we went to the beach.
Some immediately rode banana boat while others were taking photos of the calm beach. Others played volleyball, I took the chance of having my second henna tattoo. Thirty minutes later, I went to the giant slide and with much confidence I tried the 3-story gigantic pool slide. But the best part of this trip was the extreme banana boat ride gave me adrenaline rush, such a wonderful experience. While riding the boat, I caught a glimpse of vacationers swimming, playing volleyball and sunbathing.

What’s a trip to the beach without water sports? If you’re adventurous, try water skiing, banana boat, snorkeling, sea kayaks, paddle boats.

I had my first henna tattoo done at Mari Mari Cultural Village in Sabah, Malaysia. Although, I’ve been to Boracay a couple of times I never had my skin painted. I was happy with the two-tone butterfly tattoo Jerich did on my back.
