City Staycation @ F1 Hotel Manila
Seats For Two started the month of October on a high note. We spent the month’s first weekend at the heart of Bonifacio Global City. While it has been known as a bustling business hub of Metro Manila, we found here a nearby weekend spot for a luxury staycation – the F1 Hotel Manila.
The Fort Suite Room
It’s our first time to check-in at F1 hotel’s Premiere Lounge located at the 5th floor. We had a good first impression as well as our Fort Suite was spacious and equipped with all the facilities we needed. Add to that the living room sofa which can also be converted into an extra bed for your child.
It feels like home with almost everything I basically needed in a hotel – a mini-fridge, coffee and tea facility, free bottles of drinking water, extra dining room table with 2 chairs, a 32-inch TV and most of all, a huge soft mattress to share with my sweetheart. 🙂
We were delighted with the high speed WiFi internet connection. The work desk inside our bedroom was also ideal for catching-up with some online projects. Although we’re full from the buffet lunch we had at F All Day Dining, the welcome cheesecake was still a treat which we immediately consumed half of.
Our view from the 16th floor revealed a landscape of modern high-rising buildings and a shopping area within Bonifacio High Street. S&R supermarket is just nearby but we opted to enjoy our stay in the hotel.
Staying at the Fort Suite is like living in a big condominium unit. The room can accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids plus a nannie.
Design-wise, the wallpaper’s color and pattern complements with the bed’s cover and throw pillow.
Even if I brought my personal toiletries, I don’t have to bring them out as F1’s set is complete. More importantly, the white bath towels are soft and smells clean.

F1 All-Day Dining
Sharing the same level with the hotel swimming pool, F1 All Day Dining is located at the 3rd floor.
They serve a variety of appetizers from fresh seafood such as lapu-lapu, prawns, and mussels. Your Japanese appetite could also be filled with the collection of maki and sushi. For the health concious, the Salad Station provides a handful of treats and choices of dressing.
There’s Filipino food as well. We had a bowl of bulalo soup each. The lamb caldereta‘s tender and juicy meat with thick sauce was good too. I’m not really a fan of lamb but we had more than the usual.
Colorful dishes seemingly highlighted the Christmas season with the line-up of Chicken Galantina, beautifully arranged honey glazed Ham with pineapples and cherries on top, Beef Morcon and Stuffed Turkey.
Now for our favorite part of the meal – dessert!
We tried a little of everything from the cheesecake down to the custard cake. We had tart, marshmallow, Halo-Halo, Magnolia ice cream, and a cup of hot Tsokolate Batirol in between.
Among all, the chocolate cake was our star of the night. It’s so divine – moist, indulgent and truly satisfying.
The matcha cake was also good although the brazo de mercedes could have been better.
Towards the end of the meal, we found one of the staff preparing a set of freshly cooked churros so we indulged with a few pieces drizzled with choco and caramel syrup.
City Staycation & F1 Hotel Amenities
We didn’t let the rainy afternoon dampen our spirits. We chose to stay in our room and enjoy the comfort of our bed, watch TV, and work online a bit.
At about 5:30, we moved to the Premier Lounge trying to catch-up with fellow bloggers over a glass of cold fruit juice and mini sandwiches while watching the television.
After the rain subsided, we immediately changed to our swimming outfits ready and game to to dip our bodies in one (1) of the three (3) swimming pools.
Not having enough, we went back to the pool the next morning as well. 🙂
Spa and Wellness Center
After settling at the room, we found time to visit the wellness center which houses a number of physical fitness equipment. Beside the gym is the F1 Hotel Spa which can accommodate two guests. It’s perfect for a couple massage but we decided to have our treatment done in our room at the 16th floor.
With refreshed body, mind and spirit, we woke up relaxed and ready to seize the breakfast buffet, lol!
