In Photos: Savoy and Belmont Hotels’ Care Package
We miss traveling and staycation. It’s been six months of being confined at home. Six months of long distance communication with our loved ones. Six months of social distancing all because of Covid-19. Amidst the challenges, we remain grateful and hopeful.
Throwback to last year’s staycation at Savoy Hotel.
Last year, we were at Savoy Hotel Manila to celebrate hubby’s birthday. Our vacation started with a sumptuous lunch at Savoy Cafe where we had some of their best dishes and dessert. After a satisfying lunch, we would lounge by the pool or watch a movie in our hotel room.
In the evening, we took a shuttle going to Resorts World Manila where we usually had dinner in one of the restaurants then window shopping. Capping the day, we visited the Steam and Sauna rooms of Savoy Hotel for the much-needed relaxation. That’s how we usually enjoy our staycation.
I wonder when are we going to visit the hotel again. A few weeks ago, we received a care package from our friends from Savoy Hotel Manila and Belmont Hotel Manila. The package comes with a pampering treat comprises of aromatherapy eye and spot pillow, apple cinnamon room scent and their very own hotel bath soap.
We’re touched that the items were personally delivered by their hotel staff.
Aside from the pampering set, there are treats from Savoy and Belmont Cafe. We love the soft bread filled with cheese and ube cream, their very own Ube Cheese pandesal. Perfect any time of the day is the Banana Loaf Cake.
We look forward to seeing familiar faces in the hotel. One day, when everything’s fine we’ll be back and do the things we used to do.
