My Scania K360 Coach/Sleeper Bus Experience
Traveling for more than six hours could be better if you’re sitting on a spacious couch complete with amenities such as a clean blanket, a tablet where you can watch movies or listen to music and snacks. This is what we experienced after the launch of Scania K360 Coach Bus held at Scania Balintawak showroom.
BJ Mercantile, Inc., the official local distributor of Scania trucks and buses turned over their initial 23 units of the K360 to GV Florida Transports, Inc., (Florida), 4 of which are in the Sleeper Bus configuration and the rest are a combination of Deluxe and Super Deluxe.
Scania K360 chassis are equipped with safety features such as the Electronic Stability Program – Scania ESP is designed to work on wet or slippery roads, where under- or oversteering often occurs, and on dry roads, where the main risk is a rollover resulting from excessive speed or adverse camber on bends. Secondary brakes (retarder and exhaust brakes), hill hold, cruise control, air suspension and cctv cameras and dashcam.
After the launch at Scania Balintawak, we were invited to experience the K360 Sleeper bus traveling from Manila to Florida’s Tarlac terminal.

I am 5’2” tall and petite. I stayed at the lower couch, but if you are tall I recommend taking the upper seat. For long trips, you will be more comfortable if you will store items in the compartment, just bring your valuables. Kindly remove your shoes and keep your cubicle clean, use the shoe bag to keep your shoes.
Overall, I enjoyed my trip to Pampanga via Scania K360 Sleeper Bus. It reminds me of the overnight bus we took when we travelled from Tokyo to Kyoto via Willer Bus. I’m so proud that we also have such thing in our country. Finally, don’t worry if you get hungry, the bus stops at Florida Terminal where you can enjoy delicious Kapampangan food and snacks.
