Experiencing The New Lime Resort Manila
Surrounded by huge establishments, accessible by major thoroughfares, and home to the main point of entry in the country, the busy city of Pasay remains one of the top choices for practical travelers.
A few weeks before Christmas, we booked a 3-day staycation at the modern Lime Resort Manila in Pasay City.
The hotel is conveniently located near Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), the Mall of Asia complex, the Philippine International Convention Center, SMX Manila, and other entertainment attractions such as the Star City.
From the ground floor, we were ushered to the 2nd level where the main lobby and check-in counters are located.
We were surprised to see a number of guests on queue for check-in. We assumed that people were going out of Manila just before Christmas, but we were wrong. After a hassle-free hotel check-in, a deluxe room with balcony at the 8th floor was waiting for us.
We were pleasantly welcomed with the cozy ambiance of the room in green, or should I say, lime hues. Moreover, the room had a modern-minimalistic interior design.
The room amenities include:
- a flat Screen TV with cable channel
- Room telephone
- bathrobe and slippers
- Minibar + fridge
- Working desk
- In-room Iron Board
- Hair dryer
- Safety Deposit Box
We had a queen-sized comfy bed with soft pillows ensuring a good night rest.
The room is equipped with a floor-to-ceiling automatic curtain which is not too common in Manila hotels.
We also enjoyed watching the Manila Bay sunset from our balcony even though there’s an ongoing government construction / reclamation project in front of the hotel.
Breakfast at Bayside Buffet
Needless to say, we had a good night sleep and looked forward to a good breakfast.
At Bayside Buffet the next day, aside from the intercontinental fares such as pancakes, variety of breads, salads, bacon, among others, the hotel also served Asian dishes such as pancit and adobo.
The restaurant is quite big and serves a variety of good dishes for about P 1,000; there were lots of choices especially during lunch/dinner.
Lime Beach
We spent late afternoons at Lime Beach waiting for the sunset; all the while listening to the band’s live performances.
Lime Beach is a good place to hang out, overlooking Manila Bay from a high vantage point (again, despite the ongoing government construction / reclamation project.
The roofdeck architecture and design gives you the feeling that you’re outside the metropolis.
If you’re hungry or thirsty, the bar also serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages; and light snacks.
Sunset at Lime Resort Manila
In summary, Lime Resort Manila Hotel has several amenities including the Lime Beach, the Sky Deck and infinity pool. We opted to stay at the Lime Beach as the sun sets, then party at the Sky Deck in the evening where we ordered smoothies instead of alcoholic beverages, lol!
After a good set of chill music at Sky Deck, we went out to explore the nearby Seascape Village where more restaurants and shops can be found and enjoyed as well.

From the hotel it only took us about 15 minutes by car to reach PITX Bus Terminal. It’s time to go home and welcome the New Year 2024 in the cool Lipa City, Batangas.
Indeed, we had a wonderful holiday break and staycation at Lime Resort Manila. We look forward to experience other Lime Resorts and Hotels properties namely the Lime Resort Boracay and Lime Resort Palawan.
