Dinner Date Night Safely at Home with Royce Hotel
When was the last time you went out with your spouse or friends for lunch or dinner date? Pre-pandemic, we would go to our favorite restaurant. With our family and friends, we celebrate special occasions. Like you, we also missed those days when everything is fine and carefree.
The new normal now allows us to resume with what we used to do. Virtual conferences are in right now. With this, we can celebrate milestones at the comfort of our homes; without the fear of getting or spreading the virus.
Last week, Idea Zentral hosted its first-ever “Cocktails and Conversations” in partnership with Royce Hotel and Casino. Dubbed as, “Virtual Happy Hour #OnlyAtRoyce“, the activity simulates physical happy hour that we all miss where friends gather, catch-up, eat and drink together.
Royce Hotel sent us a lovely gift with food from their in-house and partner restaurants, Amare by Chef Chris and Choi Garden. There’s classic Italian Sausage, Salsiccia sampler consisting of Traditionale – Amare’s take on the classic Tuscan style pork sausage, Dolce – a light sweet and savory sausage inspired by how it’s done in the Piemonte, and Picante – mild spicy sausage from like the ones in Calabria. Together with other invited guests, we were asked to cook and present a dish for the happy hour. Mrs. Seats For Two made stewed lentils topped with pan-fried Salsiccia. It was tasty, tender and juicy. Aside from the Italian Sausage, we had dumplings courtesy of Choi Garden Clark. From siomai, hakaw, siopao to chicken feet. Of course, happy hour wouldn’t be complete without a delicious wine.
Like all of us, Royce Hotel and Casino are continuously adapting and adjusting its processes to ensure the safety of everyone who visits the property. Health protocols are in place and are strictly observed when you are in the property. Aside from these, Royce also paves the way to keep us updated with what is happening via virtual activities. Indeed, a good way to keep in touch even when we are apart.
