Manila Hotel Lights Up: Ceremonial Christmas Tree Lighting
Manila Hotel is already beaming with beautiful lights and Christmas decors as early as November 2! Their giant Christmas tree was lit up that day in a festive celebration led by Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada and Manila Hotel executives.
“Ang Ating Tanging Yaman” (Our Treasured Heritage) is this year’s theme showcasing Filipino Christmas traditions in Manila Hotel.

The Christmas décors were a product of world-renowned event stylist Rachy Cuna‘s creativity making the elegant Manila Hotel lobby even more lively in tune with the holiday season. The Christmas decors mainly used local materials with highlights of gold, warm grey, and white.
From the main entrance, guests were greeted by the “Bahay na Bato” which is a symbolism of the old Filipino traditions dating back to the pre-colonial era of Philippine history.
Inside, you will be delighted to see gifts in various form and sizes for kids, and even adults. Chocolates, souvenir items and toys for kids are also on sale.
