What’s New @ BonChon Chicken?
We’ve always been wanting to visit Korea for sometime now; specially for the wifey who’s a bit hooked on K Dramas such as “Goblin” and “The Land of Morning Calm“. But it’s good that there’s now a wide array of Korean food options available in the Philippines.
Recently, BonChon Chicken invited Seats For Two for a K-tastic afternoon to highlight some of their newest dishes!
New Dishes @ BonChon Chicken
We started with the very filling Gangnam Bao. You have the option for the regular or the fried bao variant.
In between the bao is a 100% real tender juicy chicken meat handcrafted with BonChon’s best-selling soy-garlic glaze. Wifey likes the steamed bao while hubby prefers the fried bao. But we both agree that it was a good Korean sandwich. It comes with french fries too.
Next in line is Jjampong Spicy Noodle Soup, a famous Korean soup.
It’s cooked to perfection with a combination of Korean Hot Pepper Flakes, Bonchon’s special spicy seafood broth, egg noodles and topped with crispy fish poppers.
This one will be a favorite for those who want it spicy especially this rainy season. It’s filling as well because it comes with chicken fillet.
Did you know that bibimbap is considered to be a royal court dish?
The Bibimbowl dates back to the Joseon Dynasty. A bowl comes with mixed rice garnished with a full assortment of well-seasoned ingredients. It’s filled with ten delicious components – carrots, egg strip, flavourful sauces and so much more.
Furthermore, it comes with bibimbowl sauces – original, Fiery Spice, and Creamy Curry, this K-Tastic dish will definitely give you the K-Tastic royal food treatment you deserve.
But our grand winner from everything new that we tasted that day was the Korean Beef Stew!
It was introduced as having premium tender beef chunks and spices that were slow-cooked for hours. Indeed, the beef chunks were tender and juicy and the sauce, really delicious.
And of course, the day shall not pass without having the famous BonChon Chicken!
For desserts, there’s the Korean iced-dessert called Bingsu.
It’s available in four variants – Matcha Vanilla, Strawberry Cheesecake, Chocolate Brownie and Mango Cheesecake. We were able to try the mango cheesecake and chocolate brownie and we’re recommending the former.
