Nanka: A Japanese Latin Restaurant in QC
There’s a warm and cozy restaurant along Mother Ignacia that serves scrumptious fusion of Japanese and Latin American cuisines.
Nanka Japanese Latin restaurant is a chic and modern resto, with long tables that are perfect for big groups and family gatherings. Seats For Two recently visited the restaurant for lunch.
Starting with some appetizers, we had the Salmon Sashimi (P345) and Crispy Eggplant (Php250). Both are tasty but we like the most the crunchy eggplant topped with kani salad.
The Mixed Inari is a perfect treat for us since we both love shrimp (P335 for 3 pcs), salmon and tuna (Php245). The size is twice bigger compared to regular maki too.
The next appetizer is best for vegetarians or someone who just wants some light meal – the Tofu with teriyaki sauce (Php245).
For the mains we had a huge serving of Steak Fried Rice (P435) with sliced tenderloin steak. It comes with sunny side egg, steamed vegetable and fresh tomatoes. The tenderloin is juicy and tender as well.
Another favorite is the Shitake Pasta with Parmesan (Php295). They uses Shitake shimeji and king oyster mushroom sauteed in garlic, butter, and soy sauce topped with green onions and Parmesan cheese.
Another must-try is the split roast Peruvian Chicken which is famous in the Latin American cuisine. served with French Fries is packed with flavors.
Came next is a huge serving of Angus Prime Rib with Truffle Teriyaki Sauce (P1,700 for 450g of Angus Prime Rib).
Capping our meal are Miso Custard (P225) and Decadent Choco Fudge Cake (P150) for dessert.
