Shakey’s All New Christmas Offerings
This quote reminds me that family will always be there, no matter what “Like branches on a tree, our lives may grow in different directions yet our roots remain as one“.
Since most of us have our own families and we live quite far from each other, we make sure to gather together before Christmas. As the organizer, I find it hard to call for a reunion many are working and kids are at school. I am grateful that each year, we can find time to celebrate the holiday season even for a quick lunch and coffee or meryenda.
A few days before Christmas, my family dined at Shakey’s Vertis North for pre-Christmas’ lunch and exchange gifts. At Shakey’s, I already knew what to order and often times we go for our favorites. This year though we tried Shakey’s newest holiday offerings.
We started with the Merry Pepperoni Holiday Pizza. It has the perfect blend of savory, cheesy, and sweet ingredients with creamy white sauce topped with pepperoni, cheddar, mozzarella, feta, and parmesan with a hint of sweet honey and fresh chopped basil. Price starts at P379.
Instead of the regular spaghetti, this time we had the Truffle Chicken Holiday Pasta made with creamy white sauce with truffle oil and flavorful chicken breast fillet. This is available in Solo size (Php334) and Family size (Php869).
Shakey’s is also offering a unique kind of pizza. For a “berry” special twist, Santa’s Strawberry Cheesecake Pizza is the perfect fusion of cheesecake bliss and strawberry sweetness, topped with a luscious cherry. This is available for Php199.
I guess our favorite from the holiday offerings is the Shakey’s Frosty Peppermint Milkshake. Every sip will feel like Christmas with Shakey’s Frosty Peppermint Milkshake. This is made with creamy vanilla ice cream with a burst of peppermint fla6vor, topped with sprinkles. This is priced at Php199.
