Taiwanese Dessert Store, Meet Fresh Opens in Manila

With visa-free privilege for Filipinos and affordable flights, you can easily plan a weekend in Taiwan. Our trip to Taipei last year brought so much joy and memories. We enjoyed going around the city, went outside Taipei to visit a tea plantation, visited Jioufen, Nanya Rock Formation, Pinglin and participated in a tea ceremony. Of course, a trip to Taiwan would not be complete not trying Taiwan street food.

Our hotel offers unlimited milk tea all day so we had two to three cups a day. The hot taro balls was very comforting especially when we visited Jioufen Old Street on a rainy day. We definitely miss Taiwan, but we’re glad a famous Taiwanese dessert shop opens in ManilaMeet Fresh opens first branch at the Podium.

Must-try is Meet Fresh Signature Series. The Signature Hot Almond Soup is a lot more creamier compared to hot taro soup. Generously served with taro balls, kidney bean, boba, chopped almonds and almond soup.

Don’t worry if you can’t decide what to order. Meet Fresh made it easier for you to choose from their menu. Step one is to choose the dessert set from ice taro balls, icy grass jelly, hot taro balls, hot almond soup or tofu pudding. Step two is choose a combination, for example mung bean and barley.
