In a recent collaborative effort of the Palawan Government, Palawan Tourism Council, and AirAsia Philippines, they officially launched the campaign highlighting Palawan as the “World’s Best Island“!
With an aim to bring more than 1.4 million tourists to Palawan, they hope to achieve this by boosting tourism potential through promoting tourist attractions, new hotels, beach resorts, restaurants, native products, and other services as part of the Palawan Action Plan.
Furthermore, AirAsia Philippines will continue to offer travel-friendly low fares and affordable rates for its 3x/daily flights between Manila and Puerto Princesa.
In fact, a travel fair in Eastwood City this summer is expected with special rates going to Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
Seats For Two has experienced the beauty of Palawan first hand. It was our first time to visit the island in 2013 where we explored Puerto Princesa City and the white beaches of Honda Bay.
And recently, we returned last March with our friends from AirAsia Philippines extending our trip to El Nido in northern Palawan. It was a four-day familiarization tour with media people including travel and lifestyle bloggers. We visited Blue Palawan Beach Resort and La Terrasse restaurant in Puerto Princesa City, Splash House in Honda Bay , Astoria Palawan, Bill’s Tourist Inn in El Nido, among others.
We stood witness as Palawan was declared “World’s Best Island” in the campaign for which it indeed is!
