Beyond Food: Resorts Word Manila Restaurants Present ‘LOVE Dish’
Food becomes more delicious when shared. And because “sharing is caring”, Resorts World Manila recently launched the ‘Love Dish‘ – a special line of original recipes created by select celebrity culinary artists with the help of Chef Cyrille Soenen.
Resorts World Manila “Love Dish“
Chef Cyrille Soenen of Resorts World Manila led a team of local celebrity chefs and culinary enthusiasts in creating a lineup of delicious dishes for charity.
Ten tasty dishes were curated by former MTV Asia VJ turned professional chef Donita Rose, showbiz scion Luigi Muhlach; singer and theater actor Mark Bautista; TV and movie actress Meg Imperial; TV Host, entrepreneurship advocate, and a Culinary Arts graduate, Dimples Romana.
Add to the list – TV and radio host Sam Oh; and writer, TV host, and blogger Stephanie Zubiri-Crespi. All these produced what we now know as a set of “Love Dish”-es!
The ‘Love Dish‘ are now featured in the menus of signature restaurants for the benefit of chosen charities.
They are the following:
- Ginatang Chicken Adobo by Chef Donita Rose
- Silogue Creamy Mango Strawberry Jelly by Chef Donita Rose
- Creamy Mango Strawberry Jelly by Chef Donita Rose
- Impressions’ Sinuglaw sa Aligue by Chef Luigi Muhlach
- The Terrace and Bar 360 Salted Egg Prawns by Dimples Romana
- Passion’s Sambal Spiced Porcini and Mixed Mushroom Farfalle by Stephanie Zubiri
- Impressions’ Hotteok by Sam Oh
- Ginzadon Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breast by Meg Imperial
- Café Maxims Peanut Butter Cupcake by Mark Bautista
We started with a delicious appetizer called Sinuglaw sa Aligue by Chef Luigi Muhlach.
We are not fans of very spicy food so we’re glad that the sinuglaw was just mildly spicy but has the strong flavor.
What came next were the Ginataang Chicken Adobo by Chef Donita Rose and Salted Egg Prawns by Dimples Romana.
These two were our favorites.
The salted egg prawns will be available at The Terrace and Bar 360 while the Ginataang Chicken Adobo at Impressions.
Of course, a meal won’t be complete without dessert. The “Love Dish” also includes three desserts.
Advocacy Dishes
You would be glad to know that every time you dine at Resorts World Manila and order the featured dishes, a portion of the proceeds from the sales of these LOVE Dishes will go to RWM’s partner charities such as COR Foundation, Right Start Foundation, and Pasay City Social and Welfare Development.
We’ll surely be back to try more of the offerings from each of the restaurants featuring the “I Love Dish” creations!
Congratulations to RWM and the celebrities who lent their experties and love to make all these possible for charity!
