Be More Connected without Being Connected
Yes, you read that right! McDonald’s and Coca-Cola teamed up to encourage today’s youth to become more connected physically by logging-off your gadgets and online accounts. They call it “Analog Hours“, or simply, #BetterTogether.
Seeing a group of family dining in a restaurant busy with each of their own gadgets is a common sight nowadays. And a sad one as well. They are together, but they are actually not. The advancements in technology, smartphones and gadgets have led them to be less and less focused in the real world and instead communicate online via messaging apps and social networking sites such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, among others.
As a result, more connections are made in the digital world than in the real one.
As much as this is not necessarily a bad thing, McDonald’s and Coca-Cola, through Project Together, wants to highlight on strengthening the physical communication between family, friends, and more.
“McDonald’s and Coca-Cola have been partners for close to 60 years, together providing millions of customers great tasting food and beverages best shared together“, said McDonald’s Philippines President and CEO, Kenneth Yang.
They believe it is our physical interactions which make our digital lives more meaningful—that real-life moments, such as hearing a story in person, receiving a warm hug and sharing a McDonald’s meal and Coke drink face-to-face, are those which create lasting memories.
“Today, together as well, McDonald’s and Coca-Cola are taking a stand that real-life connections fuel our digital lives and enrich our relationships”, added Coca-Cola Philippines President and General Manager, Guillermo Aponte.
McDonald’s BFF Bundles
In line with this campaign of togetherness, McDonald’s and Coca-Cola are introducing the new BFF Bundles in their menu offering designed to bring together friends and family.
At Php 399, the BFF Bundles is good for a group of three while the Php 559 bundle is good for a group of four.

Customers can tweak their bundles, choosing between their favorite McDonald’s products. Choose from seven of their favorite McDonald’s Burgers and enjoy them with the new BFF Fries, big enough for the entire gang to enjoy together, and a refreshingly ice-cold Regular Coke for each one. Friends who prefer Chicken McDo can opt for the BFF Chicken Bundle and choose between 1pc Chicken McDo and McSpaghetti or 2pc Chicken McDo with rice, complete with BFF Fries and Regular Coke.
Why not pair-up your McDonald’s World Famous Fries paired perfectly the Coke McFloat, Coca-Cola drink topped with soft serve vanilla and chocolate syrup, the BFF Fries and Float combo is theirs to enjoy for an affordable price of only Php 150.
