City Staycation at The Selah Garden Hotel Manila

Surrounded with busy markets, shopping malls and art galleries, Pasay City is one of the busiest cities in Metro Manila. Accessible via major thoroughfares and near airport terminals, this urban jungle is a prime location for transient travelers.

And at its center, we found a cozy and quiet place to rest and relax amidst the busy metro – Selah Garden Hotel Manila.

Residing north, we seldom go to Pasay City, except for the occasional visits to  at Ikea Manila or going to  the SM Mall of Asia.  There was a time we even had to book a hotel along Roxas Boulevard so we won’t be late for a  conference at the nearby PICC. Today, we’re glad to discover Selah Garden Hotel – offering a cozy accommodation with a laid-back atmosphere right smack in the middle of the city..

The Lofts at Selah Garden

Selah Garden Hotel is a quick 15-munite walk from a 2 major train station – the LRT Taft-Edsa  and the MRT-3 Taft-Edsa stations.

The 4-level hotel offers various types of accommodation catering to couples, families and even big groups or “barkada“.

Upon check-in, we were welcomed by a set of friendly staff and crew who immediately offered to carry our luggage.

Loft-Type Room @ Selah Garden

We stayed in a 20sq meter loft room located on the 4th floor; good thing there is a convenient elevator.

The room had a minimalist tone with touches of Filipino furniture as you can see from the photos above. It also had a somewhat vintage design like the bedside lamp and dresser with a huge mirror.

As a loft, there is a 2nd level where the second queen-sized bed is located; perfect for a family of four, or even more.

Moreover, we like its spacious bathroom with hot and cold shower and  toiletries.

Other room amenities include:

  • Smart TV
  • Coffee and Tea making facility
  • Vanity Table and Sofa
  • Airconditioned Room with Ceiling Fan
  • Mini Bar with Refrigerator

Outside the room were woven chairs for guests to relax. From the 4th floor, we have a view of the hotel’s swimming pool and activity area. There’s a strong internet connection as well so we were able to finish some work while on staycation.

The Selah Garden Hotel offers more than accommodation and relaxation. Guest who are up for some adventure may try their Team Building facilities:
