A Family Staycation at Bayview Suite, Bayview Park Hotel Manila
It’s not a secret that we love doing vacations especially during special occasions. Most of the time it’s just me and my husband Jonel, but there are also occasions that we bring our entire family. For three consecutive years, my side of the family chooses Bayview Park Hotel Manila for our summer getaway.
Last year, we decided to get an upgrade. Instead of booking three standard rooms per family, we booked two rooms for 12 people. One is a standard room where my sister Tina and her family stayed and the Bayview Suite that can accommodate six adults and two kids. For this post I will highlight the latter, you can also visit our review of Bayview Park Hotel Standard room review on the link here.
We arrived around 1pm and we’re glad that they accommodated us early, the rooms were ready at that time. Check-in was such a breeze, they would usually ask for a deposit. As mentioned earlier, we got the Bayview Suite with a view of Manila Bay. The room is huge, it has a living room, a dining area complete with dinnerware, two bathrooms and a huge bedroom that can fit ten people.
Let’s start with the living room. It has a sofa, a center table and big cable television. Next to that is the six-seater oblong dining table, so big that it fit 6-8 people eating at the same time.
We were surprised how modern and high-tech this Bayview Suites was. It has one big bedroom with a king-sized bed, built-in cabinets, ceiling lights with remote and a high-tech remote smart television.
As mentioned earlier, the Bayview Suite can fit more than four people. Aside from the king-sized bed, it can still occupy two to three extra beds. Bayview Suites has two bathrooms, with a bathtub on one of them. This is perfect for big families or barkada bonding.
After a meryenda of spaghetti and palabok from Chammie, we went swimming at the penthouse. My niece and nephews enjoy the cold water. My mom and siblings enjoyed the pool as well. The swimming pool is open only until 5pm or 6pm. We had dinner inside the hotel room and just ordered something from the restaurant. The kids enjoyed board games and a movie marathon that evening.
We woke up early in the morning excited for buffet breakfast. I always look forward to hot pancakes, some Pinoy delicacies like puto (steamed bun) and biko (sticky rice). There’s daing na bangus and fried rice, salad and fresh fruits as well. After breakfast, the kids played in the playroom and went back to the penthouse to swim.
