Our Romantic Moonlight Dinner At Ocean Restaurant
Club Paradise Resort in Palawan is known for its white sand beach, crystal clear water and a great Scuba diving area. Did you know the resort also features a restaurant that serves Filipino, Asian and international cuisine?
I must say, we experienced a lot of surprises – from the bouquet of flowers, our printed photos and birthday greetings to a special dinner by the Veranda and the Moonlight Dinner prepared by Ocean Restaurant.
Moonlight Dinner at Club Paradise Palawan
While waiting our food to be served, we talked about how majestic Coron is. One of our favorite tourist spots was the twin lagoon while the Maquinit hot spring provided immediate muscle relaxation.
Just like the waves and beautiful moon, we noticed the flavors of Piscado Con Chimi Churi. We love the fish and vegetables cooked in traditional Argentinean herb sauce, chimi churi. It was my favorite.
While the Mexican Succotash have a full flavor. The Chef has come up with tasty dish combining a healthy side dish with beef strips. It was Mr. Uy’s favorite.
Even if we’re at the middle of a romantic moonlight dinner, I still can’t believe this is happening – with just the two of us and the trios who came to serenade us. It felt like I’m a queen in a fairy-tale with my prince charming besides me.
Not only us were treated with Filipino and popular English songs, everyone dining at Ocean Restaurant experienced the traditional harana.
A Spanish sponge cake called Pastel De Tres Leches topped with cherry, sliced mango, and a brush of chocolate for the sweet ending.
Club Paradise’ Glow Spa
Overall, it was a wonderful moonlight dinner by the beach. The treat wasn’t over yet, we ended with a soothing body massage at the Glow Spa, Club Paradise in-house spa. We had their signature foot wash followed by Swedish massage which lasted an hour. We couldn’t stand anymore and wanted to sleep at the spa. Upon entering the room, we smiled with the charming bedroom set-up. Then, I couldn’t sleep anymore so I turned on the music from my smartphone and enjoyed the rest of the evening with my better half. 😛
Good Morning Club Paradise!
We don’t want to waste any minute before we say goodbye to this island which has been our home away from home for the last four days. It’s time to hit the beach once again. Snapping our cameras to capture more images so we could share the wonderful experiences we had.
We went back to Ocean Restaurant for our last breakfast. Served was Filipino and American breakfast favorites – pancake, champorado, danggit, and sausages.
